Tatamagouche Government
The Village of Tatamagouche receives its legislative authority and responsibility from the Province of Nova Scotia. The authority is detailed in the Municipal Government Act. The Village is governed by five elected representatives.

The Village Commission meets the second Tuesday of every month, with the exception of July and August, unless required. Meetings are held at 7:30pm in the Patterson Room at the Tatamagouche Library on Main Street.
The Village Commission holds the Annual General Meeting the fourth Tuesday of May at the Tatamagouche Fire Hall.
